The Waitlist Works Because…
I’m in, baby! Oh yeah!
I’d been shot down several times this year trying to get into shows and was feeling the morbs as far as conventions go. Got the word a few days ago that I’m in! Catch me at Table O-25, March 27-29!
In other convention news, I’ll be at the very first Madison Anime-Fest this Saturday!
I’ve also applied to FanExpo Chicago and I’m going to take a stab at applying to New York Comic Con this year. Wish me luck!
Spectress & Sabanion, Issue #6 Update
Interior art continues! Topper is still killing it and we’re about halfway there. When we last left our intrepid Egyptian ghost and her demon buddy (in Issue #5), she was presenting her thesis on justice (ma’at) and Cleopatra, only to have the whole thing crashed by the Blood Shade. His bloody Blackcoats show up to make things even more interesting. Things do not proceed well from there. Click the pics!
The spectral jackals are back!
I expect to launch on Kickstarter in late April! Click HERE to follow the launch!

Movies & TV
I haven’t been able to catch much lately but…
The Autopsy of Jane Doe - this isn’t new but it’s worth a mention. Creepy as hell. Terrifying. There was a place I actually had to stop and put it away for awhile (when the bell rings, you’ll know). It takes place in a morgue, where a pair of father & son morticians perform an autopsy on… something they don’t understand until it’s too late.

The Terror - another one that’s been around for a while but definitely worth a watch. A tale of the (real life) lost expedition dispatched to the Artic in hope to find a route to China/India. None of them ever came back. None of them were ever found. A slow, chilling descent. Check it out.
Pop Culture News & Links
How many of these indie comic book masterpieces have you read? I’ve only gotten a bit through Saga. I have Eight Billion Genies waiting patiently on my shelf.
I enjoyed the 2022 Hellraiser reboot. Here’s a cool interview w/ the screenwriters. More to come…?
Speaking of Hellraiser, Boom Studios is currently running a Kickstarter for the collected comics. I had a bunch of them on Comixology and remember them being really good.
The Hunt for Gollum. No… just, no.
Wait… a Dungeons & Dragons TV show? Yes, just yes!
Vampires of the Velvet Lounge. Looks cheesy enough to be a modern cult classic. Is that Deacon Frost?
Thank You!
The Ruxy Vampire #3 script is in the editing stage. It is really, really action packed and even elicited a genuine “Holy shit!” from my editor. Very satisfying. Writing it was really an enjoyable escape. I hope all my stories provide that for you. I also hope you’re doing ok. Hope to see you at a show sometime this year.
