Diamond Comic Distributors has new owners!

Alliance Entertainment Holding Corporation. Apparently, they made a pretty generous offer. It’s interesting to see what that future holds. I just sent in Spectress & Sabanion as my first submission to a distributor: Massive Indies. It’s never really something I thought I’d do but my buddy Keith at Keiths Komix suggested now was the time to give it a shot. It really is an interesting time to be in comics… lots of uncertainty but maybe that means new opportunities. Time will tell.

Oh and have I mentioned that RUXY VAMPIRE is KILLING IT on Kickstarter?!

I’m almost sure I have. Just over a week in and we’re at 77% funding! This is shaping up to be another great campaign. Thank you! Ruxy is such a blast to write and it’s been a joy seeing the art come together. Not to mention… that delicious dash of sexy! If you haven’t backed yet, it’s a great time to get in. Milestone Bonuses have just been announced (free digital comics, stickers & fun stuff, oh my!) and there will be other goodies announced soon. Stretch Goals are going to be a good time too! Envy Demons are… well, they’re assholes (one-uppers, have to be the smartest guys in the room, insecure bullies, poor losers… you know the type). He can pass for human but as he gets shown up, outmatched, bested or embarrassed, he starts to HULK OUT. He’s Al Capone’s top hitter but needless to say he’s a bit miffed after his first meeting w/ Ruxandra Tepes AKA RUXY VAMPIRE!
